WHO WE ARE
Meet the Owner
A lot of Josh’s family took their last name as a call to service. Many have gone on to become successful contractors in the Hocking Hills area. Growing up and working with his family, Josh gained a broad understanding of many of the construction trades.
After graduating from Miami University (Ohio) with degrees in economics and history, he became an apprentice with a contractor that specialized in high-end home construction, repair, and remodeling in the Indian Hill area of Cincinnati.
After a year of his apprenticeship, he became a construction and remodeling subcontractor in the Southeast Ohio and Cincinnati areas.
In 2013, Josh made the switch from being a subcontractor to being a general contractor. Since then, he has managed a wide variety of projects:
New construction & additions
- New homes
- Room extensions
- Pole barns
Remodeling and renovations
- Floor plan rearrangements
- Finish carpentry (interior & exterior trim)
- Interior & exterior painting
- Flooring (laminate, hardwood, tile, etc.)
- Kitchens and baths
- Doors & windows
- Siding (cement board, wood, & vinyl)
Home and property installs, repairs, & maintenance
- Storm & leak damage
- Pressure washing
- Gutter cleaning & repair
- And much more!
Josh does what he can to give back. In the past he has traveled to various areas in North and Central America, leading a variety of construction and property improvement projects for low income and impoverished families.
He also played American football in Scandinavia where he competed against semi-pro teams in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. While he was there he helped teach the American sport at a football camp in Sweden.
In September of 2016, Josh traveled to Iraq as a delegate with Christian Peacemaker Teams. While there he documented first hand accounts of the human rights abuses being carried out by ISIS, Iran, and Turkey, as well as by different groups of Iraqi citizens.
